Wee Internet Empire Update - May 28, 2022
Greetings All,
Today I only have a small amount of new content up in my Wee Internet Empire.
That being said, there are several other things that I wanted to share with you, as well as providing a bit of an update on me.
First, I have uploaded a new blog post, A Tale Of Two Quotes, providing somewhat of an outline of how I have modified some of my thought processes over the years.
Stay tuned for some more photo uploads to Flickr, and a couple of podcasts in the works. Soon, on one of the podcasts, Rob Truscott will again be my guest and we will be talking about utilizing YouTube.
In my personal life recently there have been a couple of bumps in the road with primarily a negative effect. The doctors have determined that I need some further work on a couple of wounds on my leg before I can be scheduled for my total hip replacement. As well, recently I have been getting pain in both my knees, perhaps related to my arthritis. This seems to come and go (weather related??), so I’m hopeful it will not persist.
Regardless, the combination of these two aspects has affected my riding for the past 7-10 days, resulting in my bike becoming merely a $10,000 display in my garage, at least temporarily.
As many of you may know, our second home is in Melaka, Malaysia. Earlier today I came across this video, Don’t Ever Visit This Country, and shared it on my Facebook. I quite enjoyed it, and knowing that some of you are not on Facebook, I am providing the link here as well.
As you read this, our friend Michael Terry has begun his 3.5 month, across Canada and back, Dispatches Adventure Ride, Raising PTSD Awareness, One Kilometre At A Time. You are encouraged to follow him along, either on Facebook or his web site. I will be spending some time with him as he passes through the Edmonton area in late July.
Thanks for being a subscriber and traveling with me on my internet journey.
Got ideas for subjects you’d like me to cover? Want to join me on one of my podcasts? By all means send them along. As well, your thoughts and comments are always welcome.
Till next time.
Richard
