Wee Internet Empire Update - 20 Apr 2022
Here we are, time to do a bit of a catch up on what’s happening with the Wee Internet Empire.
New blog post inspired by a video from The Voice Australia was added last week. Wonderful Things Do Happen. It is amazing how life works sometimes. A link to the video is included in the blob post.
Rather than having two video streaming services, I have decided to concentrate on YouTube, and have therefore moved four Malaysia videos over from Vimeo and have removed the Vimeo link from my website. The videos I have moved over are: Genting Highlands - Tram Down, Melaka - First Visit To Night Market, Melaka - Jonker Walk, and Melaka Pasir Malim Night Market. All were placed in the Malaysia playlist.
You may have noticed a couple of changes on the Empire Links page of my website. In addition to removing Vimeo, I indicated that I have added Marco Polo to my communication apps.
Sharing some memories in my new podcast, First Time Fishing In Masset. Hope you enjoy it.
Recently a friend had in her blog that she was also on Medium. Well I had to have a look, and wouldn’t you know it, I now have a Medium account. I have not written anything as of the publishing of this newsletter, however you can find me here.
Although Mother Nature keeps breaking up the nice weather with the odd days of snow, we have entered the beginning of motorcycle season in Alberta, with a good number of us already getting out on the roads. I have been out a number of times already and it was so nice after being cooped up all winter.
However, that being said, I must remind everyone, bikers or non-bikers, that motorcycles will be out and about in large numbers soon. I am a member of two excellent motorcycle organizations which I believe all should support. Both organizations work hard to make biking safer and more enjoyable to all.
They are the Alberta Motorcycle Safety Society (Facebook, website & YouTube), and One Broker Biker (Facebook, website & YouTube).
Hope you are doing well, and continue to be healthy. We keep looking forward, tomorrow is always another day, with new opportunities.
Please do consider sharing this newsletter with friends, let’s see if we can keep this growing.
Finally, just a reminder that any feedback you may have regarding any of the platforms I use to share is always welcome.
